Schedule:

Any big project requires a detailed schedule to keep the tasks on track and in order. The RC Baja project had a schedule laid out within the first couple of weeks using a Gannt chart. The Gannt chart displays each individual task needed to be completed in order for the project to progress. Within each task, colored boxes show when the estimated time frame that the task will be worked on and completed. X's show when that task is actually worked on. Next to the task labels, estimated time for that task along with the actual time used is displayed. This Gannt chart really is the backbone to the project because of the ability to visually see the set schedule for when and what needs to be done.

Budget:

The budget for the RC Baja was made just as a budget for a working project. It considers purchased parts such as motor, transmitter, servo, hub assemblies, wheels/tires, hardware, etc. Manufactured parts take raw materials which are also included. The associated quantity and origin of these parts or materials are also displayed. Labor hours are expected to be a rate of $50.00 an hour and won't be considered in the initial budget. The expected budget of this project is $600. The students also agreed upon a $100 contingency fund.
